One way to illustrate our progress together is to measure our progress over time. Here are a few statistics measuring our progress from 2012 (the year before I was made Rector) and now, the beginning of 2017. Average Sunday Attendance has doubled in three years!Number of households participating in the annual stewardship campaign (Estimated Annual Giving) has more than doubled in three years!The Estimated Giving for 2017 is almost exactly doubled in three years!Charitable giving by the parish quadrupled in three years!Slide5

Through the generosity of a benefactor, we were able to purchase the 4.5 acres on School street where we hope to build buildings to house a full fledged school.Last month, the Vestry voted to authorize a new ministry – a school to eventually educate children K-12Slide13

Together, we selected a name, which has been registered with the state. We are currently in process of legally establishing the school, which will begin, God willing, in fall of this year. And the name is…Slide15

Where St. Aidan, a great Celtic Anglican Saint…
Built a great Abbey, that produced more great saints for the Anglican faith
And converted Northern England to Christ – from a small island in the seaSlide16

Build the ministry of Lindisfarne Hall Parish GrowthOne more thing…A new (to us) Pipe OrganThe organ we have is old and in need of expensive repairs. A refurbished pipe organ can be purchased for not much more than repair and replace what we have. A pipe organ would add “gravitas” to our worship.Slide20

In 2017, our Diocesan Synod will be YUUUUGE!Four Anglican Jurisdictions will meet together and sign a Communion agreement.The Anglican Catholic Church, the Anglican Church in America, the Anglican Province of America, and the Diocese of the Holy Cross.October in Atlanta, GeorgiaDelegate Elections will be in late Spring when plans are firmly settled.
