Klinische kenmerken: Gegroepeerde papels confluerend tot annulaire plaques met centrale hyperpigmentatie.Geassocieerd met: Diabetes mellitus (controversieel), HIV infecties, maligniteitSelf-limiting in 1-2 jaar (50%) met 40% recidief kans
Slide3Therapeutische opties Behandelen met sterke corticosteroïden of cryotherapie (oppervlakkig bevriezen met vloeibare stikstof of chloorethylspray). Soms verdwijnt het spontaan na biopsie voor diagnostiek. Daarom wordt ook 'scarificatietherapie' (krassen, prikken, biopteren) toegepast. Ook PUVA en UVA-1 is mogelijk

imiquimod 5%) creme 1dd een positief effect kunnen hebben als behandeling voor granuloma annulare.
Maar er is meer onderzoek (RCT) nodig om hier meer zekerheid over te kunnen geven.

Lage kwaliteit van bewijs. Geen vergelijking met andere therapeutische opties.Bijwerkingen van Aldara in de literatuur niet genoemdGA is self limiting
