Resurrection Sunday
Faith Baptist Church - April 12, 2020
Slide2He Lives!
by Alfred H. Ackley
Slide3He Lives!
I serve a risen
Saviour
; He's in the world today.
I know that He is living, whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,
And just the time I need Him He's always near.
Slide4He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way.
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.
Slide5In all the world around me I see His loving care,
And though my heart grows weary I never will despair.
I know that He is leading, thro' all the stormy blast;
The day of His appearing will come at last.
Slide6He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way.
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.
Slide7Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian! Lift up your voice and sing
Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ, the King!
The Hope of all who seek Him, the Help of all who find,
None other is so loving, so good and kind.
Slide8He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way.
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.

Foll'wing our exalted Head, Alleluia!

Slide16In Christ Alone
By Getty and townend
Slide17In Christ Alone
In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song.
This cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
Slide18What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease.
My comforter, my all in all
Here, in the love of Christ, I stand.
Slide19In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe.
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones he came to save.
Slide20‘Til
on that cross, as Jesus died -The wrath of God was satisfied.
For every sin, on Him, was laid
Here, in the death of Christ, I live.
Slide21There in the ground, His body lay -
Light of the world, by darkness, slain.
Then bursting forth in glorious day,
Up from the grave, He rose again!
Slide22And as He stands in victory,
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me.
For I am His and He is mine -
Bought with the precious blood of Christ.
Slide23No guilt in life, no fear in death.
This is the power of Christ in me.
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
Slide24No power of hell, no scheme of man
Could ever pluck me from His hand.
'Til
He returns or calls me home -
Here, in the power of Christ, I stand.
Slide25Turn Your Eyes
Upon Jesus
by Helen
Lemmel
Slide26Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Slide27Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than
conqu’rors
we are!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Slide28His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Slide29Crown Him with Many
Crowns

Slide30Crown Him with Many Crowns
Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne:
Hark! how the
heav'nly
anthem drowns all music but its own!
Awake, my soul, and sing Of Him who died for thee,
And hail Him as thy
matchess
King thru all eternity.
Slide31Crown Him the Lord of love: behold His hands and side
Rich wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified;
No angel in the sky can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends His
wond'ring
eye at mysteries so bright.
Slide32Crown Him the Lord of life: Who triumph o'er the grave,
Who rose victorious to the strife for those He came to save;
His glories now we sing, Who died and rose on high,
Who died eternal life to bring and lives that death may die.
Slide33Crown Him the Lord of
heav’n: one with the Father known,
One with the Spirit thru Him
giv’n
from yonder glorious throne.
To Thee be endless praise, for Thou for us hast died;
Be Thou, O Lord, thru endless days adored and magnified.
