Depressants analgesics:-
Ordinary pain killers & narcotics

They account for more deaths than all the narcotics combined because of availability.

THEY CREATE EUPHORIA BY DEPRESSING THE CNS.

They reduce tension and induce sleep by depressing the CNS in small amounts.
Example include:
Antidepressants
Alcohol
Mandrax
Glue etc
In large amounts they cause Stupor, Coma and Death.

and Energy, cause Euphoria and reduce Sleep and Appetite.

Euphoria is quickly followed by Depression.

They Distort Perception and hence Generate Euphoria. However they can cause terror.
Example is LSD. (LYSERGIC ACID DIETHYLAMIDE) and its many Synthetic and Natural Preparations.
