AMA has an Annual General Meeting once a year, where among other things the Executive Committee is elected
At the 1st meeting of the Executive Committee The Chairman is elected, as well as a vice –Chair and Honorary Treasurer The Board is also reviewed at the meeting, and leadership of key committees confirmed – sustainability, regulatory and fees committeeThere is a Memorandum of Incorporation that guides the executive committee in its dutiesThe fiduciary obligations are followed up by the Board and Finance CommitteeAll attendees to meetings commit themselves to Anti-Trust obligations and sign off on the Register their commitment to conform
All professional services, i.e. Executive Director, Accounts, Technical Consultant are contracted by the Association

The objectives of the Association are to formulate and improve regulatory and safety standards as well as to promote the benefits of aerosols and to be the recognised authority of the South African aerosol industry to ensure that the adoption of safety, health and environment standards are improved to the benefit of all stakeholders, including the consumers.
