Add the NRCS ‘Raindrop’ icon to ArcMap 10.0
In ArcMap 10.0 and Toolkit 6.0 the NRCS ‘Raindrop’ icon (the one thatcan turn the Toolkit Tools on and off) may not be accessable. If it is notalready available then this document will help you set it up on your PC.

1. In ArcMap click on the “Customize” tab, then select
“Customize Mode”

. The “Customize” window will open. Click on the “Commands” tab.
3. In the left window highlight “Customer Service Toolkit”.
4. In the right window scroll down the list, then highlight the choice for
“Toolkit Toolbar”.

5. Left-click on the name of the tool, and drag it up into the Main
Menu. NOTE: You may not be able to ‘drop’ the icon in place
unless it is between two other icons.Slide4

6. The first time you open the Toolkit Toolbar it may be’ floating’.
You can leave it where it is, move it off of ArcMap, or dock it.

7. To dock the toolbar first move it towards the center of the window.
Several blue shapes will appear. These indicate where the toolbar
can be docked. Move it onto any of these blue shapes, and the
toolbar
should snap to the location . It may take a few attempts.

8. The toolbar is now docked. Notice the small ‘push-pin’ icon at the
top of the toolbar. Clicking on this pin will make the toolbar into
an ‘auto-hide’ tab at the side of the window. When the toolbar is
in auto-hide mode the pin will turn sideways. A pin with the point
facing down will ‘lock’ the toolbar (keep it visible at all times).

9. Here is the toolbar ‘hidden’ as a tab. Click on it once to re-open
the toolbar.

10. NOTE: The Table Of Contents also can be unpinned. If you are
working with ArcMap, and notice that the TOC is missing, then
check to see if it has become a tab at the side of the window.
