Donning with N95

Doffing with N95
Disinfect with PDI wipes or foam or gel between all steps
Disinfect visibly contaminated PPE
Disinfect outer gloves
Remove apron if used: rolling inside out, away from body
BUDDY
assist with bootie removal (nurse sitting)
Disinfect outer glove & remove:
if inner glove is
compromised- followed detailed list with “Monitor”
Remove Face-shield
Remove head cover
BUDDY
unties the “outer waste tie”
Remove gown: Grasp at shoulder/pulling as you roll off and “breaking” the inside tie as you roll outside of gown “inward” folding outside layer away from your body.
Remove gloves as you are rolling gown off arms: roll gloves into gown.
Avoid outside of contaminated gown
Perform hand hygiene
Exist room then apply clean gloves and remove N95
Disinfect all shoe surfaces with wipe (while sitting)
Disinfect gloves, remove gloves & perform hand hygiene
