CAST Field Test: Basic Facts
The field test becomes available on April 2, 2018.LEA-selected testing window must be open.Field test closes when LEA selected testing window closes.
Each form will have
32–45
discrete items and 2–3 performance tasks
.
The field test should take approximately two hours to complete.

Test Administrator and Student Surveys
Test Administrator Survey:Consists of 7–10 questions, taking approximately 5–10 minutes to complete.Must be completed before July 16, 2018.
Student Survey:
One question—“
Do you think you will be enrolling in any more science classes in high
school?”
