Model in SCIA Engineer Global 3D model of structure Different materials in one model Interaction of all members Unlimited number of load cases No module for design of Westok cellular beams

Westok CellbeamDesign/check performed in manufacturer software Each beam is separate, independent structure Limited number of load cases in the software Time consuming modelling in case of many beams

CADS Link Part of SCIA Engineer Transfers geometry and loadings from Scia Engineer 3D model to Cellbeam software single beams Automatically generates lateral top restraints, where secondary beams are connected to the main beam After beams design in Westok software, updated sections/ holes sizes are transferred back to SCIA Engineer

Example: 3D model of the whole structure built and analysed in SCIA Engineer (beams with Westok sections)

After running the link (export ), geometry data and loadings for all Westok beams are transferred to Westok Cellbeam, and can be designed

After design in Westok software updated sections are transferred back to SCIA Engineer ( import), and may be used in global analysis of the structure
