Ruba Fattouh Independent Director B.Bus/Sci, CA, M.IslamSt. (Current) Ruba was appointed to the Malek Fahd Islamic School B oard in December 2016 . She is the D eputy C hair of the Finance C ommittee and sits on the N ominations and A dvisory C ommittee . Ruba is an alumni of Malek Fahd . Ruba is the M anaging D irector of MAS TAX Accountants and her role s include establishing financial policies, maintaining management information systems and advising on strategic and business planning. She is experienced in ensur ing strategic initiatives are expertly managed and coordinates and produces regular reporting tools for clients to measure and ensure success. Ruba has extensive experience in the financial services industry which spans over 10 years. Her corporate experie nce in various sectors includ es superannuation customer service and finance . Most recently, Ruba was Business C onsultant at AMP in customer strategy. She has experience in areas such as customer transformatio n, strategic planning and consulted in the cust omer strategy sector to create scorecards which measure d initi atives to improve the customer experience. She specialises in creating and interpreting financial statements for internal and external stakeholders and provides financial analysis and forecasting. She played a pivotal rol e forecasting cashflow implications in the superannuation retail sector following the AMP/AXA merger. Ruba ’ s passion for steering change also extends to the role of women in leadership. She often mentors female members in the community to achieve their goals. She is a regular speaker at school career expos focusing on post school opportunities and student support services. Ruba became a member of the Institute s of C hartered A ccountants Australia and New Zealand in 2015 . Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Ruba believes in giving back to the community and is involved in NPO consulting and teaches Islamic scripture in government schools . She is currently studying her Masters of Islamic Studies at ISRA. She enjoys keepin g fit and travelling, and is also a busy parent to two young girls.
