SIPU International SIPU International is a Swedish consultancy and training organisation and the focus of our work lies on capacity building and institutional development in transitional and developing countries. Among others, we work with public sector development and publi c financial management, support to civil society, evaluation and market development. We gain our work mostly through public procurement, and the projects are commissioned by donor organisations such as Sida, the World Bank, the European Union, UN agencies, DFID, NORAD and other bilateral donors. SIPU works within Public Administration Reforms (PAR), Public Financial Management (PFM), Civil Society , Local Government, U rban Planning, Environmental Management , Evaluation , Gender Issues, Market Development, and Training. Candidate s should have obtained or started a Masterâs Degree in social sciences, economics, business administration, public administration, development studies or another related field and be enrolled in an internship course at university level or through Arbetsför medlingen. Interest in and knowledge about development cooperation is a necessary precondition. Applicants must be fluent in English, while knowledge of Swedish and/or other languages is a merit. Solid competence in working with Microsoft Office is a must. We offer a sound insight into the work of a consulting firm working with international development cooperation and our working environment is dynamic and stimulating. Our tasks usually require a high level of interaction between colleagues. We are looking for highly motivated, self - driven interns who are ready to take on varying tasks. The tasks will vary depending on which unit you choose to apply for. We are looking for two interns that will mainly work with business development of our project portfolio. This will include carrying out regular market analysis and research, assisting us in identifying and preparing project opportunities and tenders. The interns will need to contact partners and experts by email and telephone, assisting in the tender process es, carrying out market analysis and research, recruitment for projects etc. The third intern will work mainly with our evaluation unit . Tasks include assisting in tender preparations for evaluation assignments, proof - reading and formatting of evaluation r eports, correspondence with our external evaluation experts and assisting in our internal strategy implementation.
