Children will complete daily reading sessions focussing on the different reading VIPERS (vocabulary, inference, prediction, explain, retrieve and summarise) to embed their reading skills. Our topicOur topic for this half term is all about Howard Carter’s amazing discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. In this topic, we will be learning about how Howard Carter unearthed the tomb of the boy king and what amazing treasures were found within the tomb. We will be looking at how these finds contributed to what we know about Ancient Egyptian life.P.E.This half term children will have PE lesson on a Monday afternoon. Children need to come to school in their outdoor PE kit. REIn RE we will be looking at reconciliation, at the story of Easter and why forgiveness is important to Christians.
