2. Tonight we are going to share subscore achievement data that has been tracked by Linkit, a data management company, for the past 5 years:2014-20152015-20162016-20172017-20182018-2019Subscore Achievement Data

3. We have elected to share this data because it clearly conveys how our students are making slight, but steady gains in the subcategories of literacy.Reading- Literary TextReading – Informational TextReading- VocabularyWriting- ExpressionWriting -ConventionsSubscore Achievement Data

9. This data shows that when we closely examine or considered that same students and follow their matriculation through the Lakewood School System we can see that they are becoming more proficient, better equipped, and more able to demonstrate their academic aptitude on a rigorous assessment such as the state assessment. What does this all mean?

10. We have elected to share this data because it clearly conveys how our students are progressing in the different facets of mathematics as they matriculate through the Lakewood School System. It shows that we are failing to maintain steady progress in this tested content area. However, mitigating factors such as teacher attrition and instructional shifts (time of instruction & Common Core) have attributed to the lack of progress that is seen in the math data.
