Gopa joined the Portfolio Advisory Group in January 2017. Prior to joining RBC, Gopa worked in the asset management industry as a U.S. equity portfolio manager at Cumberland Private Wealth Management and at Sceptre Investment Counsel. Before joining the investment industry, Gopa worked in equity research at National Bank Financial and Merrill Lynch. Gopa holds an MBA degree from the University of Toronto, a M.Sc. degree in Microbiology from the Medical Colleg e of Wisconsin and a B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Gopa is an investment committee member of the A+ US Core Dividend Portfolio, US large cap equity guided portfolio and the ADR guided portfolio. He is also a CFA charterholder .
