How It Works : Community Safety and Early Warning System : Detect SOS emergency & send a safety alert to the Yawa GIS map that in turn posts the geographic location of the alert on a n online GIS map and in that way, it enables first /emergency responders to determine the necessary actions to take in real time. It can also detect emergencies with or without out any action of the individual . The same emergency SOS alert can be activated by anyone within that GPS location even without the knowledge of the distressed person . This will be particularly useful in the response to cases of kidnapping or attacks/ raids .
