COMMERCIAL FLOOR CARE PROCEDURES PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE 1. Place proper walk-off mats in doorways to keep out dirt and grit. “Natural” rubber mats or underlayments are best for hardwood floors. 2. Install felt floor protectors on tabl3. Avoid excess moisture from tracked in water and leaks – wipe up any excess moisture as soon as possible.
