The creation of Dana Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (DIPI) or Indonesian Science Fund is to strengthen Indonesia’s capacity in science, technological innovations, and the necessary cultural mindset as a foundation for its growth. By creating an independent and open system research funding, DIPI will boost high quality research in Indonesia to achieve scienti c excellence. DIPI commits to become a trusted research funding institutions and applying good governance, following accountability principles: Public accountability DIPI ensures that dissemination of information, summary contents of grants, such as abstract and project outcomes will be made available on DIPI website and other publicly databases as well as in reports documents, and mailing list Accountability for scienti c communities DIPI acts as an advocate in encouraging open scienti c communications. DIPI expects that the signi cant ndings from research activities would be promptly submitted for publication both national and international. DIPI requires t
