2. Bank of America – Works SystemLog into Bank of America Works, and you will see accounts assigned to you listed under Accounts Dashboard

3. Hover over the account number you have a question about and a drop down will appear

4. The drop down gives you two options – select “View Auth Log”

5. A new box will appear, and give a reason for decline (if applicable)

6. This also shows you the ACTUAL available balance AFTER accounting for pending transactions

7. If you selected “View Full Details” in the drop down on the home page, you will see this screen - select Actions and “View Auth Log” will appear

8. The same authorization log will appear here as on the home page

9. Other Reasons for Decline – Closed Account – this means a vendor tried to charge an old account number

10. Other Reasons for Decline – Individual MCCG is excluded This means the code group the vendor identifies itself under with Visa has been excluded by the District for some reason. The Business Office can change MCC group settings (i.e. “opening up” cards) to permit authorized purchases in certain cases to permit the purchase. An email explaining the request must be received before the grouping is changed.
