Info as of 1 March 2012 Toril Eikaas Eide Adviser at the Centre for Continuing Educati on (SEVU), University of Bergen ; member of the Steering Committee of EUCEN – European University Continuing Education Network Toril Eikaas Eide participated from the start (1990) in establishing and developing the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Bergen (UiB), Norway. Here she has been active as a project manager, process leader, and a pedagogical adviser for academic staff wo rking on initiating and designing continuing education and flexible ULLL programmes and projects, most of them web - based. She has also been involved in strategic institutional processes, e.g. related to organisational systems for pedagogical support and pr ofessional development of staff in the pedagogical use of ICT in ULLL, as well as evaluation and quality processes. Over the years she has participated in various national and international networks and proje ct groups, given presentations, held workshops a nd is the author of a number of publications. She has been the leader of the Quality Committee of NADE since 2006 (a Norwegian national membership organisation for institutions involved in flexible education). Toril Eikaas Eide, representing the project partner University of Bergen, actively contributed to the EUCEN projects EQUIPE and EQUIPE Plus, also as a member of the projects’ management groups. She has been a member of EUCEN’s Steering Committee since 2008.
