ENGINEERING The dual degree engineering program prepares students to be successful engineers by emphasizing a robust science core, coupled with strong problem solving and communication skills. Students spend three years at Hiram College, followed by two years at one of our partner universities, both of which boast national reputations for their engineering programs: Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Washington University in St. Louis Future engineers major in physics, biology, chemistry or computer science at Hiram, and, upon meeting required academic and disciplinary standards, are then guaranteed admission into a partner university. There, students study their desired engineering eld, and after two additional years, earn two bachelor’s degrees.
