NOTICE 1. The Army Welfare Housing Organisation (AWHO) is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 under Certificate issued by the Registrar of Societies, Delhi. The aim of AWHO is to promote appropriate housing schemes at various stations at „No Profit No Loss‟ basis for serving and ex-servicemen and their widows within the Rules & Regulations of concerned Civil authorities. 2. It has come to notice that Organisation with name as “Government Officials Welfare Organisation (GOWO)” is giving advertisements offering flats/ houses for Central and State Government Employees. GOWO is not connected with Army Welfare Housing Organisation (AWHO) in any manner. 3. Officers, JCOs, OR of the Indian Army (serving & retired) and their widows and other eligible categories are hence advised not to get confused and carried away by such similar named organizations. 4. Anybody dealing with the “Government Officials Welfare Organisation (GOWO)” shall do so on his own risk and responsibility and AWHO shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever.
