was a lottery ticket seller in Kochi, Kerala. Murugan, a daily labourer was one of his regular customers.One day Murugan reserved five tickets from him. However, he did not have the money to pay Peter, but promised to pay in the evening. When the results were out in the afternoon, Peter
realised
that one of the tickets reserved by Murugan had won a sum of Rs. 40 Lacs and an Innova car.Peter left his shop immediately in search of Murugan to hand over the winning ticket to him. Both of them deposited the ticket to the bank in Murugan’s name. Coming to know of the incident, the state finance minister Mr. K M Mani, visited Peter’s shop and appreciated the deed.
