8. Common QuestionsQ1: What if I already have volunteers, how can we make a smooth transition?A1: Work with them to decide what their interest is. Do they want to be a certified volunteer? They can continue in the capacity they are in, but it would be great to transition them into being a certified volunteer.8

9. Common QuestionsQ2: What if I have a volunteer that is already certified in another program area?A2: All they need to do is to complete the FCS application. Much of the information can be transferred – references, background checks, etc. They will still need to go through the FCS orientation process.9
