A Popular Place for TouristsAbout five million people visit the Grand Canyon each year.

The Grand Canyon is known as “the outdoor version of Disney Land.”

It costs $20 a car for 7 days or $10 a person. Kids 15 years or under are free.Slide5

Top 10 Facts about the Grand CanyonThere are two main parts to the Grand Canyon: the South Rim and the North Rim.

The South Rim is the most popular side of the canyon. There are many activities and attractions. It is closest to Flagstaff.

The North Rim is where visitors go who want relaxation and quiet.

Some scientists think that the Grand Canyon was formed by running water.
