Guest Service (Registration)
Students will learn about the venue (i.e. where bathrooms and bars are) and direct guests throughout the evening to their desired destination. Students may be asked to answer questions about the Festival. Should have strong command of the English
language.
Students will assist the credential management staff for the distribution of credentials to sponsors, exhibitors, suppliers and festival guests.Welcoming guests to the venue, guiding them into the appropriate lines, BIG smiles. Students will be exchanging tickets for wristbands.
Must be fluent in English & Spanish, have knowledge of the event and good customer service skills. For exact shift times and attire, please review your student portal. This is crucial!Slide18
Photography
This position will be a made available through the School of Journalism & Mass Communication at the Biscayne Bay Campus.
In charge of capturing iconic moments throughout the duration of event.

No Storage
There will be no storage for purses, bags, etc. - All you need is your Panther ID
Not all events have credentials, but if your event does, be sure to wear your credentials (might be a lanyard or wristband) at all times.Slide20

Scholarship Information
By participating in the Festival, you are eligible to receive scholarship.
Scholarship amounts were created by FIU and will vary based on the event and the rigorousness or skill required for your position.
Once your essay is received and we receive word on good standing of your participation, your name will be submitted to the Financial Aid office for processing.Financial Aid will work hard to process your scholarship before next semester.
No Essay = No ScholarshipIn order to be eligible for a scholarship students MUST submit their essay before Monday, March 2, 2015 at 5:00 PM - there will be
