Release of GrantsRs 2000/- per HH Toilet to be released upfront to states on reciept of concept Sanitation strategy. Total amount depending upon census 2011 figures & Budget availibilty.Part of GoI contribution for VGF/Grant , shall be released on reciept of concept Sanitation strategy.
This initial grant will be replenished on the basis of utilisation claims of state governments.
State government must release central share along with state share to ULB’s within 30 days.
