David Knight and Scott Winter will once again lead a special Intensive Writing session on Saturday (preregistration is required). Saturday’s keynote speaker will be New York Times best-selling author Michael J. Mooney. He writes for ESPN the Magazine, Rolling Stone, GQ, Outside, Texas Monthly, Atlantic and Popular Mechanics. His stories have appeared in multiple editions of “The Best American Sports Writing” and “The Best American Crime Reporting.” A Dallas resident, he’s the co-director of the annual Mayborn Literary Nonction Conference.
