Annual Rivi Regatta Information Sheet Annual Rivi Regatta will take place at the Riviera Club on S, July . Boat Inspection will begin at a with the first heat scheduled to start at 1:00p. 1 . Cap tain of the bo at MUST be able to swim without preserver . 2 .Participants will need to provide their own (creative) paddling devices. BOAT BUILDING RULES: All boats will be built offsite and transported to the Riviera Club on the day BOAT INSPECTION: Boats are subject to inspection and disqualification if any one of the above rules are violated.Every attempt may be made to bring the boat into compliance prior to disqualification.All entrants will be assigned a designated spot to make final adjustments and passinspection. All entrants must ensure that their portion of the pit area has been cleared andcleaned prior to departure. All boats must be removed from the Rivera Club or placed inappropriate trash containers following the final raceand no later than 3:00p on Jul, 20 ADDITIONAL NOTES: All boats must be in compliance with the rules above to participate in any portion of the RiviAll boats will be grouped in heats and assigned to a lane.Boats will be inspected and judged for compliance of Regatta Rules.Rules are subject to change. Boatwill be allowed only passenger who will navigate (using human powonly) the RiviClub’-meter course. Thiis timed final event with the fastestlegal time determining the winner. It may be of any thickness, but cannot bebonded to any other material, such as vinyl. Non-corrugated material MAY NOTbe used,especially the kind of resin or wax-type coating found in packing cases. No solid cardboard andno carpet roll tubes may be used.Wood, metal, Styrofoam, rubber inflatable devices or other materials that would pro
