The Current Agreement 2015-2022 38,2 million USD Composed of 17 research teams Support to 5 public universities: Makerere , Busitema; Kyambogo; Gulu & Mbarara 12 Swedish partner universities ( KI, Uppsala, SLU, KTH, Linköping, Gothenburg; Stockholm, Lund , Chalmers,Borås, Mälardalen and Swedish Patent and Registration Agency ) Capacity Building of 388 university staff members mainly at Mak 120 PhDs ( 0nly 8 PhDs trained in Sweden); 182 Masters , 61 Post- Docs & 25 small grants to researchers Institutional Support : Research management system , QA, Curriculum development for local Master and PhD programs; ICT , Library, GIS, Iganga MU Centre for Heath and Population Research
