CCCs help Census Bureau get complete count in 2020 through partnerships with local governments and community organizations.

) - offers local governments & regional planning organizations the opportunity to review & modify selected statistical boundaries Census Bureau uses to count people so Census Bureau can provide most relevant, useful data possible

AACOG updated Board of Directors during Board meetings & Area Judges meeting;
Shared a NADO video on PSAP
Provided county specific maps on current census tracts & recommended splits.
Held workshop in Fall 2018 with Census Bureau PSAP staff to provide information on PSAP to member governments & recruit participants to review statistical boundaries due out in 2019
Holding workshop with PSAP staff on February 15 for region on program & Geographic Update partnership Software (GUPS) for participants to review the boundaries & generate final 2020 PSAP plan for region
Workshop will be live-streamed on AACOG’s website
