Det yourselves invited to their annual meetings. All elected officials need to understand county budgeting in more detail, so that would be a good topic to present. After eight years in office, L am concerned about how little elected officials know about how local government fits into the big picture. L don't need a party, just information on how to deal with the Dreat State of aontana. have not attend any meetings lack of ability to hire staff in my L have not participated in conferences, but L have no doubt that are very important. All of these are valuable if you want to attend to learn all you can about the working of county gov.Add more variety to the agendas for meetings. As near as L can tell, the same general template has been used from time immemorial! Limited relevance for urban counties at many of these meetings.aeetings in person are very helpful for information sharing and making contactsboneL believe any type of training is valuable as is the interaction with other members. The virtual townhalls have been informative. bice to be able to review them.beed to figure out a way to keep people in the meetings instead of out socializing around the break tables. After /ovid, hold some regional meetings for all elected officials together. Iowever, set up meetings for three or four counties at a time.
