He has completed his B.A., LL.B. from the Army Institute of Law, Mohali in 2007. He also has a Masters in Business Management from Symbiosis International University specialising in Finance and Marketing. Tomu’s expertise lies in as sisting Indian listed companies and their promoters in resolving regulatory and investor concerns, with the objective of mitigating the possibility of litigation. He regularly appears before the Securities Appellate Tribunal on various contentious matters involving takeover violations, insider trading, collective investments schemes and fraudulent & unfair trade practices in the securities markets. Tomu is regularly invited by the Government Law College to address students on various aspects of securities l aws. Tomu is experienced in transactions involving Indian listed companies and also advises various intermediaries associated with the Indian securities market. In addition to the above, he is also counsel to and advises the Securities and Exchange Board o f India and BSE. He has been involved in the fund raising plans of various companies including Initial Public Offers, Qualified Institutional Placement, placement of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds and Global Depository Receipts etc. Prior to joining E LP, Tomu worked with Rajani Associates where he was working with their Capital Markets and Securities Law team.
