Tepe represents clients across a broad spectrum of industries in civil antitrust liti - gations, complex class actions and criminal antitrust investigations. He also advises clients intellectual property. Mr. Tepe has represented clients in a variety of industries, including automotive, chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, securities, technology and transportation. Notable representations include: - defending, in multiple cases, pharmaceutical companies in class action suits challenging “reverse payment” settlements of patent infringement litigation; - - defending a Chinese state-owned metals and minerals corporation in a class action litiga - tion involving the extraterritorial application of U.S. antitrust laws; - representing a pharmaceutical company in a claim against a former business partner alleg - ing eorts to allocate a market for pharmaceuticals; - defending a pharmaceutical company in a suit alleging consumer fraud related to the marketing of pharmaceuticals; and - defending a global diamond mining corporation in multi-district class action litigation. Mr. Tepe also has represented leading industrial companies in criminal investigations before federal and state grand juries for alleged bid-rigging and price-xing. In addition, Mr. Tepe advises clients on the antitrust implications of patent licensing, - ments, including articles nominated for the Institute of Competition Law’s 2014 Antitrust Writing Awards, where one of the articles, “Thoughts on Google’s FTC Settlement,” won Best Business Dominance Article. Mr. Tepe has devoted time to pro bono work in support of the rights of workers, including victims of labor tracking and theft of wages.
