You are required to show your badge to anyone in the AOA who asks to see it.  All persons must validate their access by placing their SIDA badge on a card reader before entering an access controlled door. This means that if a grou p of employees is accessing the same door, each individual must place his/her badge on the reader and ensure that the light on the reader turns from red to green and stays green. (An invalid badge placed on a reader will cause the light to turn green, but it will immediately change back to red). Allowing someone with an invalid badge to walk through a door with you is considered a badge violation . See below for penalties.  It is the badge holder’s responsibility to ensure gates/doors are closed an d properly secured. If a door or gate malfunctions or fails to secure , call airport police dispatch and guard the entrance until law enforcement arrives.  When driving through a vehicle gate, only the driver must badge the card reader, however; it is the responsibilit y of that driver to ensure everyone in the vehicle has a valid badge or is being escorted by someone with a valid escort badge.  Badges are not transferrable. Do not give your badge to anyone else or allow anyone else to use your badge.  SIDA badges are the property of the Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust (TAIT), and they must be surrendered to TAIT upon termination, retirement , suspension, expiration, when the badge is no longer needed to perform job functions or when requested by either TAIT or your tenant security coordinator.  Failure to return an airport badge will result in a minimum $50.00 fine.
