What is Forced Labor?According to the International Labour Organization:Article 2(1) of Convention No. 29 defines “forced or compulsory labour” as “all work or service which is exacted from any person under the menace of any penalty and for which the said person has not offered himself voluntarily”.According to Customs and Border Protection(CBP):CBP defines forced labor as ”all work or service which is exacted from any person under the menace of any penalty for its nonperformance and for which the worker does not offer work or service voluntarily.”
