In their fear of being cap-tured alive by Serb forces, the two men ac-vated a hand grede, which killed them on the spot. e Serb forces transported the boes of Sylë, his grandson Nazmi, Xhevdet, fqet, Xhafer, and Nazmi (Nebih) Gasto Gjakovë/akovica, and had them buried by the abrat public fural company at the town cetery. After the war, the dead men’s faes exhumed the boes of therespecve family members and idened them by the clothes and idencation do-cuments found on them. Shefqet, Xhafer and Nazmi (Nebih) Gashi were buried at the Cetery for Fallen Combetants in Grabanicë/Grabaca. Xhevdet was buried at the Cërmjan/Crmljan cetery, Sylë at the Gjergica/urca cetery and Nazmi (Radan) Gashi in Koran/Komorane.In midJanuary 2004, Rizah’s fawas called by the UNMIK O ce on Mising Persons and Forensics to recoRizah’s mortal reins, which had been scored in 2002 at the Junik cetery. Rizah was reried on 25 January 2004 at the Cetery for Fallen Combetants in Grabanicë/Grabaca. Next day, their mother Fane and sister Xufe joined them. On 28 August 1998, they all set o together to go to a relative in the village of Osek Hilë/Osek Hilja. Another relative, Muharrem, set o with them, because they were going via Skivjan/Skivjane, where he had a friend. In Skivjan, Muharrem stopped to stay with his friend, while Fane and her daughters continued on to Osek Hilë/Osek Hilja. at was the last time they were seen alive. After the war, Fane’s body was exhumed from a grave in the village of Piskotë/Piskote.
