1 Housing Support Staff (3 rd Shift)
Housing Support Staff (3 rd Shift) Preble Street has full - time 3rd shift Housing Support Staff opening. The Housing Support Staff will be responsible for providing program coverage, maintaining tenant safety, monitoring the security of the building, providing crisis intervention and support, and assisting clients and tenants in overcoming barriers to stable housing. This Housing Support Staff position will work across multiple programs: Logan Place , Huston Commons, Florence House, and Teen Services . The schedule for this overnight ( awake ) position is for 4 nights ( Wednesday, Thursday , Friday , Sunday ), from 11PM until 9AM the following morning. Requirements • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a helping profession, as well as MHRT - 1 certification, is required. • Applicant s must be at least 21 years old . • Must pass a physical examination, which includes a test for TB • First Aid certification or become certified in First Aid (in - house training opportunities offered) . • Clear several required background checks . • Ability to attend recurrent, regularly scheduled trainings, which are provided in - house . • C andidates for this position must have a positive regard for individuals accessing services for homelessness and poverty . • Ability to establish boundaries and set limits with a diverse population . • A bility to work as part of a team .
