Nijo Castle Golden Pavilion The most authentic and exquisite Japanese style garden in the world, plus the celebrated Golden Pavilion. Under renovation in Jan.- Golden Pavilion Kyoto Imperial Palace The ancient Imperial Palace clearly shows the Japanese taste for purity, simplicity and calmness. On Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and some other days when Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed, the tour will visit HIGASHI HONGANJI TEMPLE, instead. (Higashi Honganji Temple is a very popular and highly active Buddhist Temple having two giant wooden structures.)
