Equine body Worker Certification (EEBW) Course at Equinology Institute Equinology Institute provides Equine body worker certification (EEBW) courses for people who aspire to learn not only bodywork but to learn about the whole horse. More importantly, the program teaches you how to be a team player and work within the industry protocols. This approach is why veterinarians ask for an Equinology graduate. The Equinology® Approach stands out because it is comprehensively anatomically referenced, reflecting Equinology's passion for academic precision concerning the equine musculoskeletal anatomy. Equinology Institute also has a canine side with Caninology presenting the canine body worker certification courses (CCBW). The canine version follows the equine approach, mindfully adapted for dogs by veterinarian Dr. Mila Speciani, who also teaches our EEBW certification and has done so for seven years. Objectives of the Equinology Equine Body Worker (EEBW) Certification Course: The EEBW Course offered by Equinology Institute furnishes several performance objectives after successful completion. After completing the course, the student will be able to::  Identify and isolate the muscles of the horse for a successful and professional wellness session,  List and define all the points used in the bodywork session,  Cite all the contraindications when the bodywork is not appropriate for the welfare of the horse,  Apply focal point therapy and bodywork successfully for their equine bodywork sessions,  Utilize the proper body mechanics to continue working without injury to themselves,  Apply the range of motion and stretching exercises to help restore the muscle's function length,  Analyze the gait asymmetries and incorporate this knowledge to target muscles dysfunction associated with these irregularities,  Analyze the conformation and understand the repercussions of defects and deviations should valid issues be present,  Devise a follow-up exercise program for the horse following the session to help break up adaptive movement, improve strength and monitor performance,  Record the session findings in a professional manner utilizing the accepted protocol in the equine health care industry,  Communicate effectively with the other team members  Evaluate progressive sessions to determine if the horse is improving and,  Evaluate the current saddle for fit and comfort and offer direction for improvement if there are issues.
