4. What are the functions of nuclear matrix Have structural role in the cell where is responsible for maintaining the shape of the nucleus and the organization of chromatin. It is participate in several cellular processes, such as DNA replication, gene expression, cell signaling and differentiation

5. Chromatin The nucleus contains loosely coiled fibers called chromatin that dispersed throughout the nucleus. Is coiled strand of nucleic acids (DNA) bound to basic proteins called histones that play a role in the regulation of DNA function.

6. nnucleosome

7. Nucleosome consists of 147 base pairs of DNA that is wrapped around a set of 8 histones called an octamer .octamer

8.

9. What is the role of chromatinDNA replication transcriptionDNA repair cell division.

10.

11. The euchromatin is metabolically active, which play an important role in transmission of genetic information and in protein synthesis.

12. The heterochromatin is metabolically inert It is involve in cytoskeletal function.

13. Nucleolar associated chromatinKaryosome Marginal chromatinThe distribution of the condensed chromatin includes three locations

14. 1-Marginal chromatin: It is forming a thin peripheral layer which lines the inner nuclear envelope.

15. 2-Karyosome: It form patches scatter in the nucleoplasm.

16. 3-Nucleolar associated chromatin: It is found as a rim condensed chromatin in association with nucleolus.

17. The chromatin DNA is a major form of DNA in the cell that carrier most of genetic information. within the chromatin there are sites of RNA synthesis. mRNArRNAtRNAThe chromatin DNA

18. The amount of euchromatin and heterochromatin usually indication of the metabolic activity

19. Sex chromatin(22) pairs autosomes (1) pair is sex chromosomesYXHuman male somatic cells have (46) chromosomes (23) chromosome pairs

20. In female (22) pairs of autosomes two X chromosomesOne X chromosome is extremely heterochromatin and forms a visible tightly coiled mass. whereas the other X chromosome is uncoiled and not visible. Barr body

21. In maleThe X chromosome is uncoiled, therefore no sex chromatin is visible. (22) pairs of autosomes (1) pair of sechromosome X and Y chromosome Barr body

22.

23.

24. The study of sex chromatin has wide application in medicine, because it permits determination of genetic sex in doubtful cases. Sex chromatin is essential for the study of the anomalies involving the sex chromosomes that include:1- Klinefelter's syndrome XXY chromosomes (male represent female properties).2- Turner's syndrome XO chromosomes (female represent male properties)
