Problem/Mission Statement Many Americans have lost their fingers through accidents or war and now have trouble holding coffee mugs

The Struggle of Being Disabled 90% of people missing one or more finger spill coffee on their shirts at least once a week47% of people missing fingers said they simply stopped drinking coffee because of difficulties with their mugsA shocking 3,000,000 disabled people had to get surgery for burnt chest syndrome, a deadly condition wrought on by frequent exposure to hot liquids

Just Kidding!

Real Problems

What Can W e Do?Mugs for the Handicapped can enable any handicapped individual to grip a mug with one hand as long as they have one fingerOur new innovative design will free up the other hand, making disabled people’s lives easier and more efficient

Our Design Prototype The design our team of engineers has developed is a mug with a hole for a finger curved allowing for grip with just one fingerEven people without disabilities can use them, would still be marketable to all consumers

Issues and Resolutions

What is UHTC? Unlicensed Home Toilet CleanerUltimate Haitian Track CompetitionUnlimited Hairless Tiger CubsUnderwater Highway To Chicago

Gotcha! UHTC stands for Ultra High Temperature CeramicThese ceramics are used by NASA to resist the heat of their enginesCan resist temperatures of up to 2000 degrees Celsius

Prototype Our engineers have put together a clay prototype that you can see here representing what the final product will look likeFinished product will be lighter and more aesthetic

Conclusion There were many difficulties in making this design such as choosing between many great ideasThis design could really make in impact on peoples lives to help them live more comfortably

Thanks For Watching! Questions?
