Team members need to feel comfortable that the company in which they are investing their mind, body, and spirit will be around to support them in the future. Open communications and confidence in the future is particularly important during times of change, when employees are experiencing uncertainty in their work environment.Activity Goal – Help teams explore the thoughts and feelings that come with change and brainstorm ideas around how to accept change. This activity along with your strengths and StandOut roles may help you achieve this outcome on Confidence in the Future. 3. The concept of change can be unsettling. Many of us would prefer to shy away from changes no matter whether they are big or small whether in our personal lives or our professional lives. Change is a part of our world at Cisco. Leadership changes, organizational changes, and business changes make up our dynamic workplace. Such changes typically involve transitioning to new ways of workingSometimes changes realign people, processes and technology seamlessly to new strategic objectives. However, many a time changes are intimidating and stressful, mostly because of the uncertainty often associated with new situations. The only thing that is permanent is “change”, so if we prepare adequately we can help ourselves and others accept change with minimal disruption.In this activity, you will explore:Feelings and emotions that come with changeIdeas that help you handle change betterOverview
