2. Fartlek TrainingFartlek training is Swedish term meaning “Speed Play”.Swedish Coach Gosta Holmer was developed fartlek Training.Developed in 1930.Its Develops basically Endurance.

9. Example of Training ScheduleWarm up by jogging for 5 to 10 minutes followed by free hand exercises (Calisthenics) for different part of the body for about 4-6 minutes. Run at fast steady pace over a distance of 800-1200 meter.Recovery: rapid walking for about 5 minutes.Start of speed work: easy running interspersed with sprints of about 40–50 meters, repeated until a little tired.

10. Cont.Slow jogging for about 3-5 minutes.Full speed uphill for 80–100 meters. Run down the hill at a jogging pace after each repetitions.Walk for 5 minute.Run at fast pace for about 1 minute.Jog about 1-1.50km. To limber down.End with free hand and stretching Exercises.
