Hude joined the state of Michigan inOccupational Safety & Health Administration, and was transferred to the Michigan Department of Education in January 29, 2006 in the Office of Career and Technical Education; and WHEREAS, Jean M. Hude assisted the Office of Career and Technical Education and the Grant d Program Improvement Unit in carrying out its responsibilities to provide support, technical assistance, and oversight to school districts operating Secondary Career and Technical Education programs, and WHEREAS, Jean M. Hude provided support and assistance to her grant review team to review and CTE Perkins and Tech Prep grant applications and end of year reports, and WHEREAS, Some of Jean M. Hude's greatest uded her work with the Technical Review and Compliance (TRAC) monitoring process, especially her timely organization of review documents and management of review and report databases, and WHEREAS, Jean Hude has decided to retire with 24 years of state service, now therefore be it RESOLVED, That the Michigan State Board of Educatreceives with deep regret the news of the departure of this able and distinguished public servant, and be it further RESOLVED, That the Michigan State Board of Education extends to Jean M. Hude its highest and heart-felt gratitude for the dedication and expertise she has brought to the students, parents, educators, and employers of Michigan; and be it finally RESOLVED, That the Michigan State Board of Educits fervent wish that Jean M. Hude enjoys many years of happiness, good health, and rewarding experiences as she embraces her Kathleen N. Straus, President Adopted November 9, 2010 Michael P.
