Grading ScaleIn an effort to ensure our students are achieving at their highest potential and to better prepare our students for the state certification exams, our program uses an advanced proficiency grading scale. A= 100 – 93 B= 92 – 85 C= 84 – 78
D= 77 – 70

Minimum ScoresStudents must maintain an average of 85% or higher in the class to qualify for the state certification exams.Students earning lower than a 78% average will participate in academic remediation. These guidelines will help ensure student success Slide12
Attendance PolicyStudents are expected to attend all classes. If a student is going to be absent or late, instructors must be notified.Maximum of three absences allowed per year, or one for summer school. Slide13

Requirements for ClinicalsProof of legal presence (Copy of AZ driver’s license or AZ State-issued ID Card)Copy of Social Security card Copy of Health Insurance card or letter stating that you do not have insurance coverage.Copy of American Heart Association CPR for Health Care Provider card and maintain current status throughout the program. Copy of Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance
