Perkins, D.M.D. Crespondent'), had permitted threeersons who did not hold requisite licenses or registrations to perform certain proceduresin his dental offices, including taking alginate impressions, making and cementingemporary crowns, placing and removing retraction cords, and as to one person, permittinger to take x rays without a license.aving reviewed the investigative record, it appears to the Board that respondentermitted three employees who were not registered as dental assistants to engage in ctivities thal are Iîmited to persons who hold such

Respondent is assessed civil penalties, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 45:1-22 in themount of $77500 for conduct with respectto allowing persons to perform activities outsideheir scopes of practice, Payment for the civil penalties shafj be submitted by certified 'check or money order made payable to the State of New Jersey and shall be sont to KevinB. Earle, M.P.H., Executive Director, Board of Dentistry, P.O, Box 45005, 1 24 Halseytreet, Sixth Floor, Newark, New Jersey 07101 . ln payment of the $7,500 in civil penalties,espondent shafj make five (5) monthly payments of $1 ,500 per payment.
