BERA RULES FOR PARTICIATION ON TRIPS & EVENTS Brookhaven Employees’ Recreation Association All events & trips are for the employees of BNL. BERA will always try to accommodate those with BNL guest appointments, BNL contractors, and BNL users. Limitations apply. Employees’ children under 21 must be accompanied by a parent who is a BNL employee. 21 & over for all Atlantic City trips. Children 2 & under may be free if sitting on the lap of a parent (when the venue ticket is free for child). Ask at the time of purchase. BERA reserves the right to change or post rules pertaining to individual trips. When arriving at BNL for a BERA trip you must either have a BNL employee, family, or retiree badge or be entered in the BNL main gate data base and have photo ID on arrival. If this is not possible, then you must request an Exit 63 park and ride pick up when you purchase your tickets at the BERA Store. Weather, Rain 0ut & Overtime Policy The BERA policy listed below is determined by and at the discretion of the BERA Board representative or chaperone on each trip. GAME DURATION: BERA will remain at a game until the end, or 11:30pm, whichever occurs first. Weather or Rain Out: In the event of a rain out, BERA will not collectively return rain out tickets for future games. Each ticket holder may, on their own, immediately exchange their ticket for a future game. If a rain out occurs, BERA will wait & stay at the stadium for a maximum of 1.5 hours for any ticket holder who chooses to exchange their ticket for another game. SNOW/Weather? Events sometime will take place even though we cannot get there by bus safely or reasonably. BERA will make every effort to have the venue re-issue tickets or make amends, but this is not guaranteed. Again, this is determined by and at the discretion of the Recreation Supervisor or the BERA Board representative on each trip. BERA will not provide transportation or be responsible for any exchanged tickets or make up games. Questions? Call 344-5090.
