Bursary Announcement:
The Irish Hospice Foundation is funding a number of bursaries to attend the ‘Who cares for carers? Working together to improve support in palliative care’ conference on 7 February 2017 in The Guildhall, Derry/Londonderry.The bursaries are available to family carers with an interest in palliative care. In addition applications are welcome from Family Carer Organisations and Condition Specific Organisations who wish to support family carers to attend this conference. The bursaries will cover the cost of attending the conference along with a contribution towards travel costs. More information about the conference is available here.To apply please contact Bernadette Pirihi, bpirihi@aiihpc.org / 00353 14912948 with the following information: Family carers should submit their name, contact details and a brief explanation of their caring experience and why they would like to attend the conference.Family carer and condition specific organisations should submit the name of the representative from their organisation and the name and details of the family carer who will also attend.
