Process of Selection:Appointed by selection and not election.Appointed on the 14th day of January.Not more than 2 office bearers from a family.No two positions by a single individual.

Samithi and Bhajanmandali:Samithi:Minimum 18 members.Engaging in activities under all the 3 wings continuously for at least 12 months.BV Classes on a weekly basis.One activity in addition to Bhajans on a weekly basis.One activity in service wing on a monthly basis. Perpetually follows point no.2Bhajanamandali: Minimum 3 members.May be from a single family / more than one family.Not within the functional area of an existing Samithi / /BM.Engaging in any of the activities under any of the 3 wings regularly for at least 3 months. DP to nominate BM Convener. Attached to the nearest Samithi.

17. Name and InsigniasName: The Organisation shall be always called and known as “Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations”The various structural levels and units of the organisation shall be known by the name – “Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations- unit name”

Emblem of the OrganisationSarva Dhamrma LogoSignificance“The symbol of the organisation is the harmony of Religions, the unity of faiths, the acceptance of all Approaches”Stupa with concentric rings holding lotus on its top on which is illuminating flame signifies various stages of yogic sadhana. Lotus on its top indicates the unfolding of heart through yogic sadhana. The next stage of this consummation of Bhakthi and the bloosming of the Heart is the flame of Jnana. Hinduism: Listen to the primeval Pranava “AUM” resounding in your heart as well as in the heart of the universe.Buddhism: Wheel of cause and consequence, deed and destiny. Zoroastrianism: offering all bitterness in the sacred fire and emerge grand, great and godly”Islam: Be like a star which never wavers from the crescent.Christianity: Cut the “I” Feeling.

It signifies that for a member wearing the scarf and badge, duty is akin to God and adherence to one’s duty with steadfast commitment and dedication is in true sense the worshipping of God.
