Slide4The leadersTo become an Alpha, an oracle for a god, a person must undergo a series of tests. These tests will determine whether a person is worthy to become a speaker for one of the gods, and if so, which one. Their responsibilities as an Alpha are to spread the knowledge and joy of their god’s words. The ranks of power in this religion go the
gods’woks
, which no mere mortal can be, and then Alphas who are the priests or priestess for the gods. Then it’s the
Mudbloods
and they are ones who know much about the gods but not enough to become an Alpha. Next are the Forsaken and they know only about movies that regard the gods. Mundanes are normal people who know very little about the gods. After them, are Muggles who know nothing at all. Finally, are the ones who are demon pox and they are illiterate freaks.
Slide5Rituals/traditionsThe ritual of dragen
de
sporen
or “bear the marks”, in Dutch, is when an individual reads off quotes from in the language that correlates to that specific god’s words and draws a mark on each of their arms. The marking of the body with ink is to show the second face, or dark side, of that god. This ritual happens every two months on an odd number day.Per aquam literally means “by water” in Latin. This ritual is actually very similar to the celebration of Cetera Desumt. It takes place at twelve o’clock
p.m, not midnight. This ritual consists of quotes beginning drowned in water, rather than being turned into ash by fire. This ritual tends to occur once every two months on the second Thursday of the second month.
Meer
boeken
translates to “more books” in Dutch, which correlates with the actual meaning of the ritual itself. This ritual is different from the rest because it doesn’t directly represent the gods’ ante
litteram
. On the fifth of every two months, a family or a group of followers of the religion
Bibliosim
will create flying lanterns or balloons and send them out into the sky at dusk. This is to send these lanterns/balloons to gain the gods’ favors so that they will create more ante litteram
.
Slide6Per aquamWrite out whichever quote you know of on the sticky note. Then fold it up and place it into the water.
Same Quotes
=
“ I am on a roller coaster that only goes up my friend,” from the god Verde’s ante litteram.“ Seriously, who curses you with their dying breath and says: I hope your eye twitches!” – One of the god Ric’s ante litteram
Or any other quotes you know of.
Slide7Religious teachingsThe Six Lessons are loyalty, selflessness, courage, dedication, independence, and dedication.
At least each of these concepts is in one
of the ante
litteram.

Slide9Dress CodeIn each ritual one is required to wear the color that correlates with the god that they study under.
More than one god means more than one color.
Slide10Socialization process In Bibliosim, there is a somewhat complex socialization process. It is very different depending on how old one is. If one wants to join the religion, then they must show their dedication to it by writing down their favorite quote from any of the ante litteram, and then proceed to destroy it in any way they desire, by water, fire, etc. After the quote is destroyed that person cannot utter those words for at least a year. If a child is being raised into this religion, the child must be taught the Six Lessons. The child must also read the ante litteram as often as possible.
